Crossings Healthcare Solutions is better than ever, with some new faces!

Crossings Healthcare Solutions, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, was started by Justin Monnig 8 years ago. The goal of Crossings is to improve the Cerner EMR, so clinical workflows can be more efficient. The Crossings team takes the solutions we build for our UHS hospitals and markets them to Cerner clients. Our solutions are embedded within Cerner’s EMR, to make seamless improvements for the clinician.

Our new Chief Medical Information Officer is Dr. Marlon Ali, MD. He is responsible for the oversight and support of our electronic solutions with the goal of advancing client success. He joined UHS as assistant Chief Medical Information Officer in 2013 and has served as the lead physician overseeing various initiatives. Dr. Ali came to UHS from Cerner where he served as a Consulting Physician Executive. Prior to this he was a practicing pediatrician and Assistant Professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City.

Our new Project Manager is Marjorie Fiorilli. Marjorie joined us from Ascension where she spent over 15 years in clinical and information technology roles including Nursing Leadership, Clinical Applications Manager and Project Management. Prior to Ascension she was a progressive care registered nurse and nurse manager for six years in Texas and Florida.

We have two new Account Executives:

Shyla Dubois handles the applications that manage our Acute Care and Behavioral Health referral sources. Shyla spent over 15 years in various roles including business development and non-profit leadership advocation for behavioral health.

Lucien DeCecco handles clients using our Cerner-focused clinical tools and services. Lucien is a recent college graduate who grew up working in a family business where he developed significant skills for client interaction.

We at Crossings are excited about the energy of our new team. We are planning on a very active year in 2022, already attended HIMSS and planning for Cerner Health Conference in October. We look forward to meeting and working with you!
