Crossings Healthcare Solutions joined other industry innovators at the 2017 Cerner Health Conference

Cerner ConferenceCrossings attended the 2017 Cerner Health Conference (CHC) in Kansas City, Missouri from October 9 to 12, where we shared our solutions and successes, and connected with peers.

The Crossings booth buzzed with 80 unique visitors, representing 40 organizations from the United States and beyond. Many visitors found our tools relevant to addressing challenges faced by their organizations.

Crossings also hosted a client networking luncheon to exchange ideas on strategies and solutions to further innovate healthcare technology solutions.

Client speakers were a new feature at our booth this year:

  • Anna Pannier, MBA, FACHE addressed “Provider Workflow Optimization”. Pannier serves as Information Services Director –Quality at Saint Thomas Health/Ascension.
  • North Kansas City Hospital’s Chief Medical Director, Todd Beardman, MD, and Senior Clinical Informatics Nurse Michelle Sullivan, BSN, MBA discussed “Improving Clinical Efficiencies with Crossings’ Tools”.

Crossings’ unique role at CHC 2017

Crossings is a Cerner client as well as a user of the health information technology giant’s EMR. In addition, we also serve Cerner through the catalog of tools and solutions we developed to enhance its systems to ultimately improve patient care.

The dynamic Cerner/Crossings relationship enabled Crossings to share our unique perspective with many conference attendees.

“Crossings’ goal is to be an organization that other Cerner clients choose to work with—as a result of both our expertise and our shared experience as a Cerner customer,” says Susan Armbruster, Director of Business Development at Crossings Healthcare Solutions.
