Crossings Solution Makes an Impact at Baystate Health
Enhanced Dynamic Documentation from Crossings Healthcare Solutions is making positive waves at Baystate Health in Springfield, Massachusetts. More than 80 internal medicine practitioners in three acute care hospitals are utilizing the recently implemented provider workflow tools. In just over three weeks, Baystate providers created more than 2,000 Dynamic Documentation notes.
The Enhanced Dynamic Documentation solution went live at Baystate Medical Center, Baystate Franklin Medical Center and Baystate Wing hospital in early November 2018. It offers providers a one-stop shop for reviewing the patient EHR, computerized physician order entry and documentation. Embedded within the Cerner workflow MPages, the optimized components help automate physician documentation and include embedded advanced clinical decision support.
The solution features three workflow MPages that gather and aggregate a large amount of clinical data. The MPages include Admit/Consult, Manage/Process and Discharge. Each features custom components and smart templates to help health systems and providers make it their own.
